Dean’s of Huntly - a small leaflet with a lot to say!

Dean’s of Huntly leaflet coverA two-fold A4 leaflet is a great, cost effective way of promoting your business
to a wide audience.

Dean’s of Huntly opened Scotland’s first Visitor Centre dedicated to shortbread in autumn 2007 along with a viewing gallery, bistro and refurbished gift shop. Their marketing staff contacted me at that time to design a leaflet to promote the centre throughout the northeast
of Scotland. Situated within the heart of Castle Country and on the edge of the Whisky Trail,
the visitor centre would appeal to tourists as well as a place for locals to meet for coffee.

Needless to say this small leaflet has a lot to say! Alongside a brief history of the Dean’s establishment, there is a photographic demonstration of shortbread being made, some bizzare facts and information about the viewing gallery, cafe, bistro and gift shop. All this, along with a custom designed map and superb photography by Simon Lofthouse, make
this a hard-working piece of design.

Bill Dean, son of the original proprietor Helen Dean, was so pleased with the leaflet that he commissioned a reprint of a further 20,000 leaflets in 2008 for the following tourism season.

If you are interested in promoting your company or organisation through this medium then
please contact me for a quote - you may be surprised at how cost-effective a leaflet can be!
