Digital marketing and PR for Al Maktoum College of Higher Education
Marketing, public relations and graphic design support to boost the profile of the College and improve student recruitment.
Al-Maktoum College is a privately funded independent college of Higher Education situated in Blackness Road Dundee. It offers a range of courses including fully funded HNCs and HNDs in Business Studies, postgraduate studies and part time courses.
We advise Al-Maktoum College on how to raise and enhance the profile of the college in the local area and support their marketing activity aimed at attracting new students to sign up for their courses.
From an initial series of workshops with key College team members we developed a marketing plan and detailed public relations plan focused on communicating an agreed set of clear messages via owned, shared, paid for and earned media. Within the first month of our engagement we secured national TV news coverage for the College, along with ongoing increased levels of local press and social media coverage.
We focused on the College’s own media channels and stakeholder network, with cost-effective use of paid online advertising, and used striking graphic design to attract attention. This has helped to quickly increase attendance at the College’s online open lecture series and contributed to achieving target levels of sign-ups for their summer language course.
