Aileen is an experienced copywriter, and has written for a broad spectrum of mediums
– including B2B and consumer magazines, content marketing and membership magazines, and specialist PowerPoint presentations. She is adept at communicating targeted content to a specific audience, and is well-versed in summarising complex information in an inspiring and engaging way.

 

Aileen began her writing career at DC Thomson in Dundee and went on to work for a number of specialist publishers and content agencies in London. She has written content for many leading UK brands (John Lewis, Pets at Home, Ocado, Virgin, Savills, British Gas), financial institutions (Barclays, NatWest/RBS, Sainsbury’s Bank, More Than insurance), Government departments (Defra) and charitable institutions (National Trust for Scotland, English Heritage, Royal British Legion, and Legion Scotland).

 

Most recently, Aileen wrote the web content to support The Dundee Tapestry (https://www.thedundeetapestry.com/), a successful community arts project
which was exhibited at V&A Dundee from January to April 2024.
