Paul Harris Fellowship Award

I was honoured to receive a Paul Harris Fellowship Award from Dundee Rotary Club president, Dai John, at our lunchtime meeting yesterday.

Named after the founder of Rotary, the Paul Harris Fellowship Award is a prestigious recognition presented by Rotary International to honour those who exemplify Rotary’s values of service, leadership and community impact.

In reading the citation, Past President Clive Murray said, “Wendy has an energy, innovation and enthusiasm that defines her approach to service above self. Her dynamic leadership and ability to adapt to evolving challenges have been instrumental in driving Rotary’s initiatives forward. Whether pioneering new programs or breathing fresh life into existing efforts, her passion and proactive mindset make her a force for positive change in both the club and the wider community.

“Throughout her time in Dundee Rotary Club, Wendy has consistently demonstrated a willingness to serve, support and uplift those in need. She is generous with her time an her dedication to the core values of Rotary is evident in every initiative she undertakes, always stepping forward with an open heart and a helping hand. Whether leading a project or offering quiet and well-informed encouragement, her willingness to contribute has inspired others and strengthened the spirit of service within the club.”
