Social media support and PR

Perth business owner Pieter asked us to create a new name and brand identity for his IT consultancy business.

Pieter had been running his business successfully for several years, but he explained that he wanted to take it to the next level. His aim was to raise the profile of his business locally with the aim of securing new clients.

Pieter was conscious that his business had developed largely through word of mouth and that his website was dated and branding inconsistent.

Business name and brand identity

We facilitated a brand workshop to understand Pieter and his business, and developed several business names and brand identity options for him to consider. Pieter chose ‘VA IT Solutions’ and a bold contemporary colour palette which reflected the colour scheme of his recently refurbished office on Perth’s Glasgow Road.

Website development

We then developed a new mobile optimised website and its content. We used simple language to explain complex IT concepts, and applied techniques to optimise search engine recognition of the website.

Business cards
Pieter wanted high quality business cards finished with a spot varnish to help clients remember VA IT Solutions.

“I’ve really enjoyed working with the team at The Malting House.
They understand my business and my ambitions, and that is reflected in the strong branding and informative website they have created for me.

The team are enthusiastic, professional and always willing
to go the extra mile to help. Even now that the work is complete,
they are there at the end of the phone if I need a bit of advice.”
