In The Malting House we believe in empowering people to succeed. We understand that experiences we have in our youth can impact our future and shape what we can become. It was therefore an easy decision to commit to Young Person’s Guarantee.
Every year we provide placements for DJCAD graphic design students, and we develop young people within our team by providing training and apprenticeships. Our founder and Creative Director Wendy has given career talks and design workshops in Forthill Primary School and Kilgraston School, and recently took part in the BBC’s “share your story” event at Grove Academy alongside actor James Mackenzie and DJ and presenter Phoebe Inglish-Holmes. Wendy is also a mentor on a fully-funded week long Rotary Youth Leadership Development Programme for 16-17 year olds.
