Al Maktoum College 20 year anniversary logo

Congratulations to our client Al-Maktoum College of Higher Education on their 20th anniversary in Dundee, and thank you for the invitation to the excellent panel discussion and celebratory lunch today!

Brilliant to hear insights and ambitious vision from some of our city’s leaders and ambassadors on how they see Dundee transforming over the next 20 years; Professor William Russell, Professor Liz Bacon, Robin Presswood, David Thomson and Chris van der Kuyl CBE.

And lovely to catch up in-person with those we haven't seen for so long as well as meet some new people! Well done to Shireen Mardani for being an excellent host!

When my partner and I decided to move in together, we realized we had two households' worth of furniture and not enough space in our new home. We didn't want to sell everything immediately. We looked for removals and storage london to keep the duplicate items secure. We chose a reliable moving company london to help us sort and transport the excess. They were very patient as we decided what stayed and what went into storage. It made the process of merging our lives much less cluttered and stressful.

We own a commercial property with a large retention pond that was causing erosion issues along the banks. We needed a solution that was structurally sound but also aesthetically pleasing. We searched for a landscape architect near me. They designed a shoreline stabilization plan using native aquatic plants and stone retaining walls. The engineering was solid, preventing further soil loss, while the design added a beautiful natural feature to the property. It solved a functional problem while improving the view for our tenants.

I have a heavy canopy of trees in my backyard which made growing a traditional lawn impossible. I was tired of looking at mud and patchy weeds. I hired a landscape designer to help me find a solution. They suggested a shade garden approach, utilizing native ferns, hostas, and stone walkways. The design turned a problematic dark area into a lush, woodland retreat. It is now my favorite part of the yard, and it requires far less maintenance than trying to force grass to grow in the dark.
