We were delighted to launch a new website for our client Chris Neilson today.
Chris was referred to us by Business Gateway as he wanted to completely rebrand his physical training business, Solo Gym, to allow him to utilise his skills of working as an occupational therapist for over 20 years.
Whilst he had a good client base, Chris was keen to specialise in accessible and inclusive functional exercise programmes to meet the needs and abilities of older clients, the neurodivergent community and people with learning disabilities, allowing them to maintain their independence and manage daily activities.
We began with a brand workshop to fully understand Chris’s vision, values, proposition, positioning and the benefits he can offer his clients. We looked in depth at the key messages he wanted to convey along with his target audiences and the best way to reach them.
This information formed the basis of a grant application to Angus Council who provided funding support for Chris to have a new logo and website developed, along with some printed marketing materials.
The Malting House team worked closely with copywriter Aileen Scoular to write the content for the website, taking care to get across key messages for target clients. Aileen sensitively interviewed several of Chris’s clients to write meaningful case studies that demonstrate the work he does with older people and those with learning disabilities.
We engaged photographer Kelly Mcintyre to create authentic photography and video to further showcase Chris’s work and the impact he is making in the lives of his clients.
Our designers created the new logo and website for “Active Independence” reflecting the colours of the established Solo Gym brand. The website which is fully adaptive for desktop, tablet and mobile screens was build with accessibility standards in mind.
The new brand style and website has given Chris the confidence to reach out to new clients and share his skills and expertise with those who need it most. We know it won’t be long before his diary is full!
If you have an older family member, or know someone with learning disabilities who would benefit from Chris’s tailored functional exercise programmes to maintain their independence and manage daily activities, then please have a look at his new website. Link in comments below.
And, if you have a business that needs a brand overhaul, we’d be delighted to speak to you!
